Communities In Schools of Appalachian Highlands (CIS-AH) surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In partnership with The United Company Foundation and The James W. & Frances G. McGlothlin Foundation, CIS-AH provides Shoes & Hoodies to over 1,700 students each year in Bristol, VA, and Buchanan County, VA, with each student receiving a new pair of shoes and a school-branded hoodie.

CIS-AH is committed to providing hope and ensuring students and families are not just surviving - but thriving, and this is a great example of partnerships bringing our community together to support students and families.
